This page will help you download the necessary software for each computer you will be backing up.
Follow the links below to download the installation files and documentation you need for Microsoft® Windows® and Windows XP.
The links for the zip (.zip) files will download the files necessary to install Charter Business Backup on your
system. Note: A software client must be installed on each device containing data that will be backed up.
Charter Business Backup documentation includes user guides, installation guides, and configuration guides for the
corresponding Charter Business Backup product. Release notes identify changes made in the latest release or
upgrade of the software client, including identification of supported platforms.

AGENT SOFTWARE
Charter Business Backup Desktop Agent
GUI application that can be used to configure a single desktop system for backup and restore operations. Includes Open Transaction
Manager® (OTM® that can back up a snapshot of open, shared, or locked files without system or application interruption.
OTM requires Charter Business Backup APS.
Charter Business Backup Server Agent
Server application that runs in the background as a system service and performs backup and restore operations. Includes
Charter Business Backup Agent Console GUI application that can be used to control agent configurations on remote systems
and allows customers to control multiple desktops, laptops and servers, from a single workstation.
Charter Business Backup Central Control
Organizes and displays the information of the entire data protection environment in a comprehensive and
easy-to-use application. Wizards simplify setup and administration, including agent configuration, job
scheduling, application plug-in configuration, and user initiated back and recovery.
Charter Business Backup Web Central Control
Single view for management and monitoring of both local and remote offices, accessible anywhere and anytime using the Internet.
Provides immediate information on the overall status of the environment. Displays status information across agents and backup jobs.
